Overview
Starting at the local Mosque Al-Ghufran, we will walk around the village and through the cobbled streets in a full circle. The tour is very relaxed and hopefully will give you an insight into the history of Sidi Bou Said and Tunisia. I will also explain practical information and tips for the local area.

1. Palace Dar Nejma Ezzahra - The home of Baron Rodolphe d'Erlanger, who was responsible for the blue and white color scheme of the town.

The tour is approximately 1.5 hours.

This activity includes:
- Al-Ghufran Mosque
On arrival
We meet at the Main Mosque (Mosque Al-Ghufran). We will meet on the steps outside the Mosque.
It's located at "Rond point", the Roundabout in French. The roundabout is at the centre of the village and is 50m from the train station and the drop-off point for all taxis.
Things to note
The tour is approximately 1.5 hours. It can get very hot in the summer, 35 °C +, so please bring water. Remember, Sidi Bou Said is situated on a steep hill, so make sure you bring very comfortable footwear!
