With more than 45km of dedicated bike lanes, Tirana has become now the city that loves every day more cycling, avoiding traffic and cars, and helping the environment take a clear breath like we do on bikes!
If you want to discover the capital city on two wheels, this will be the best opportunity. You won't waste time, and you will discover attractions food, and coffee in the city.
We start with our tour at the University of Tirana, and we will visit the Center, Skanderbeg Square, Museum bunkers from tough communism, New Bazaar, and Bike Bazaar, we will try our local food the famous “Lakror” or “Byrek” accompanied with buttermilk.
For sure, we’ll have short coffee breaks after,
Then we will do a full tour of Artificial Lake of Tirana which is all around with bike lanes. After that rest on the lake for vitamin D so we can share experiences together and we finish our tour at a busy area like “Blloku” so maybe you can plan your ‘afternoon date’.
Note: You need only your city bicycle and a smile on your face. (If you want suggestions about rental bicycle spots, please contact me)
