Overview

We will visit the Archeological Museum of Thessaloniki, which has a unique collection of artifacts from the region of the province of Macedonia.

The artifacts span a period from the prehistoric era to the early years of the Roman Empire. Among its unique possessions is a papyrus, considered the oldest book in Europe, and the world's most extensive collection of ancient golden crowns. The most important, of course, is the stories of people connected with these items, which will be narrated throughout the tour.

Please note that the museum charges an additional 8 euros (not included in the tour fee) unless you are a 25-year-old European Union citizen, in which case it's free, or an over-65 European Union citizen, in which case it is half price. If you are under 25, non-European Union is also half price.

The tours are conducted by an official licensed tourist guide with the registered no. 33Ξ02766Ε1
