Overview
This city is much more than the seat of the Dutch government. It is a place that combines historical legacy, modern architecture and a vital role in global diplomacy. Here history, power and culture are intertwined in every corner, a fascinating blend of tradition and modernity that leaves no one indifferent. At ROTTA TOURS, we invite you to explore its soul through an exciting tour that will make you see it with different eyes.
Our tour begins in Plein, next to William of Orange, symbol of the independence of the Netherlands. From there we delve into the military history of the country exploring Grenadierspoort, and admire the Mauritshuis, home to famous paintings by Rembrandt and Vermeer.
We continue on to Noordeinde, the royal street, and stop at the First Chamber of States, witness to centuries of democratic history. We also visit the imposing Sint Jacobskerk Cathedral and the Peace Palace, epicenter of international justice and symbols of world peace. We end at the International Court of Justice, where international disputes are settled.
