Join us on a unique tour of Tetouan, a city rich in history, culture and tradition, where every street and every corner has its own story to tell. On this tour we will take you through the medina, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, where you can lose yourself in its labyrinthine streets, colorful markets, spice aromas and local products that will transport you to the heart of Moroccan daily life.
During 2 to 3 hours, we will explore the most emblematic places and also those secrets that only a local guide can show you. We will pass through the Moulay El Mehdi Square, the nerve center of the city, surrounded by historic buildings and full of life; we will meet craftsmen workshops that keep alive the traditions of textiles, wood and leather; and we will discover hidden corners of the Medina where you can breathe the authenticity of Tetouan.
Throughout the tour, you will learn about the history of Tetouan, from its Andalusian era to its modern development, including the Berber, Arab and Spanish influences and the famous old Jewish quarter Mellah.
