Street Art, Culture & Modern Days Estonia Free Tour
Overview
I'll tell about Estonia's recovery in the 1990s and massive digitalisation, which helped Estonia advance fast, and learn about the great leader Lennart Meri. We'll visit the "Freedom" Gallery and talk a bit about street art in Tartu. Explore the areas of Suppilinn, Tahtvere, Vaksali, and Karlova to see Art Nouveau buildings from 1900-1920s and their communities (e.g. student and "secret" societies).
The tour ends in an ex-Soviet factory that became an artsy area, a printing museum home, and a good lunch-dinner spot!
This activity includes:
- Graffiti & street art exploration in Tartu
- Recommendations Tartu, Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius
- Areas outside downtown Tartu

Things to note
1. An umbrella is always a good idea.
2. Think about how I can make a tour better for you (e.g. talk about a specific topic), and let's chat at the beginning of the tour.
How can the tour be free?
Our concept is simple — there is no set price. Instead, you tip your guide at the end of the tour whatever amount feels right to you. Typically, guests give between $10 to €50, depending on their satisfaction and budget.
Most guides accept cash or card payments, or you can do it via our app.
