As a female local guide, I offer a different perspective of Tangier: authentic, open, and full of positive energy. I’m a friendly and laughing person, and my tours feel more like walking through the city with a friend than following a typical guide.
During our walk, I’ll show you the hidden corners where locals live their daily lives, the colorful markets, the peaceful streets of the Kasbah, and the views that still take my breath away. I’ll share personal stories, cultural insights, and honest conversations about traditions, women’s life in Morocco, and how Tangier has changed over the years.
My tours are different because I show you Tangier through my own eyes, not only the history, but the emotions, the humor, and the small details that make this city special.

On arrival
We will meet at Grand Socco, the large main square that connects the old Medina and the new city.
I will be standing in the middle of the square near the fountain, holding a MONKEY flag, so you can easily recognize me.
How to Get There:
From the Medina: Walk downhill toward the main square (about 5 minutes from most riads).
From Tangier Ville Port: About 15–20 minutes walking uphill, or 5 minutes by taxi.
By Taxi: Ask for “Grand Socco” or “Place du 9 Avril 1947” (the official name of the square).
From Tangier Ville Train Station: About 10 minutes by taxi.
Things to note
Please wear comfortable walking shoes, as we will explore the Medina’s streets, which include hills and uneven surfaces.
Bring a bottle of water, especially during warm days.
I recommend wearing sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen) in summer.
Please arrive 5 minutes before the start time at Grand Socco so we can begin on time.
Look for the guide holding the MONKEY flag.
