Overview of the tour in Strasbourg
Did you know that after the Second World War, the city became a symbol of Franco-German reconciliation? We will tell you a lot of curiosities, some stronger than others. We will start on Rue du Dome. The next stop will be at Rue des Juifs, where we will look at a plaque that commemorates the presence of the Jewish community in this place.
We will pass through historical places such as Place Broglie and the town hall (Hotel de Ville) we will arrive at the German Imperial Quarter of Neustadt, which was built by the German authorities during the annexation of Alsace-Lorraine, World Wars history is very interesting.
We will take the tram at Place de la République (1€80 per ticket) after visiting the Rhine Palace, the former Imperial Palace, where we will talk about the architecture of the 'Neos', we will arrive at the European Quarter, a symbol of peace after so many fights, Wars, Hitler & Nazism.
