Free Skopje Bike Tour
Overview
The entire tour covers about 8 km and typically takes between 2 to 3 hours. Since the duration depends on the group's pace, the guide may adjust the itinerary by adding or removing points of interest as needed. Throughout the tour, we will remain on our bicycles, except towards the end when we cross the Stone Bridge, where walking may be required.
The tour may include various points of interest, depending on the group, weather conditions, or major events such as sports competitions. We will focus on Skopje’s past, including the 1963 earthquake and Brutalist architecture, as well as the city's present, exploring local life, residential areas, and even indulging in some tasty experiences with drinks or sweets.

On arrival
We will meet at the main City Square "Macedonia", on the North-West side of the fountain, near the entrance of the Marriott Hotel (the Casino).
We will be there on the bicycles.
Things to note
Please make a booking at least one day in advance.
You may bring your own bicycle or rent one from us. Scooters are welcome, though they are not the best option.
Our tours are not challenging; they are suitable for everyone, no matter their fitness level. The pace is always slow, and we stop regularly during the tour. It’s important that you know how to ride a bicycle and that you are in good health.
The client shall be responsible for their use of the bicycles to avoid injury or serious accidents. This bicycle tour is taking place in an open and public environment, which may be hostile, namely, the road. The client agrees to follow the directions that the guide may give, including those with the intent of protecting his personal safety and the safety of others.
Bicycle rental:
By joining our free bike tour of Skopje, you can choose to rent our old-timer bicycles: single-speed, city bicycles (available in size M and size L). The rental price of these bicycles is 300 MKD or 5 €. And you can keep the bicycles till the end of the day, after the tour, at no extra cost. Be advised these are vintage city bicycles, single speed, low breaking power, and have many squeaking sound effects while riding, and are intended for slow movement, but they work. With these bicycles lock is provided. If you want for a helmet, one can be provided for 60 MKD.
If you wish for a better quality bicycle, we can organize a premium bicycle with 3x9 gears (available in sizes from XS to XL) for a special price of 930 MKD or 15€ for the duration of the tour. You can rent these bicycles for the whole day (24h) for a price of 26€. These bicycles come with helmet, lights and spares.

You are free to cancel a booking anytime. We kindly remind you to cancel bookings you cannot arrive for. Being reported as absent decreases your customer level points and the benefits you can enjoy.
