Overview of the tour in Siena

Visit the beautiful region of Chianti with us and immerse yourself in the picturesque Tuscan scenery that you have always imagined. Wine of Chianti results from the wise blend of Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, and originates from the hilly area from which it draws its name.

The sounds and flavors of this land will capture your senses through a unique experience that you will live, relish and comprehend by visiting ancient churches, medieval castles, and small villages where the rhythm of life remains unaltered over time.

The tour continues with a visit to a charming wine estate where you'll take part in a guided tour of the wine cellars in order to gain insight into the various stages of wine production and in a tasting of the various wines that the winery produces, paired with samples of sliced cured meats, bruschetta, and salami.

During the tour, you will see the characteristic fortress of Monteriggioni. There you will find some shops specializing in typical Tuscan products, as well as elegant cafés where you can stop and enjoy a coffee or a gelato. Subsequently, the tour includes a second tasting of olive oil and wine in another local winery.

On arrival

Meet our staff, who will be wearing green shirts, in Piazza Antonio Gramsci (Please come 15 min earlier).

Things to note

Customers must be able to climb and descend stairs.
Small groups: maximum 8 people on the minivan.
The meeting point will be from Siena Piazza Gramsci in front of Bar La Lizza.
Please note that during the winter season a minimum of 4 pax is required in order to activate the tour. In case the minimum is not met you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

Participant Requirements: Bring a mask with you and wear it during all the activities. All participants +12 years old must present one of the following documents: a complete vaccination certificate; a certificate attesting to the administration of the first dose of the vaccine, which took place at least 15 days prior to the activity; a confirmation of the healing from Covid-19 within the last 6 months; the negative result of a swab performed no more than 48 hours before the activity. We remind you that in the absence of these documents it will not be possible to participate in the activity and no refund will be made.
