Overview
Embark on an unforgettable journey through the heart of the Barrio de Santa Cruz, one of the most magical and evocative corners of Seville. The journey begins in the Patio de Banderas, with its privileged views of the Giralda and the murmur of its history linked to the Real Alcazar.
From there, we enter the Plaza de Doña Elvira, a scene of tiles, orange trees, and romanticism that looks like something out of a play. We continue along Calle Susona, where the legend of a young Jewish girl still echoes in the walls, to continue to the charming Callejón del Agua, which winds along the wall with the freshness of its name.
The itinerary then takes us to the Plaza de Alfaro, with its iconic grille of Don Juan, and the Plaza de Santa Cruz, an old medieval cemetery converted into a meeting place full of history. Further on, the Plaza de los Refinadores reminds us of the mythical Don Juan Tenorio with its statue. Finally, the walk culminates in the Church of Santa Maria la Blanca, a baroque jewel that keeps the Sephardic and Christian footprint in perfect harmony. A route to feel the most authentic Seville.
