Overview
The Monumental Seville Route invites you to travel through centuries of history, art and splendor in one of the most beautiful cities in Spain.
We will start at the Plaza de España, symbol of Andalusian regionalism and architectural jewel of the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929, with its spectacular tiles, bridges and canals. We will continue to the Old Tobacco Factory, current university headquarters and inspiration for the famous opera Carmen, and the Hotel Alfonso XIII, emblem of Sevillian luxury.
We will visit the Archivo de Indias, testimony of the colonial past, and the Real Alcazar, the oldest royal palace in use in Europe, with its mixture of Islamic, Gothic and Renaissance styles. In front of it stands the Cathedral with its iconic Giralda, the undisputed symbol of Seville.
The route culminates between the Church of El Salvador, a jewel of Sevillian baroque, and the modern Metropol Parasol, an example of contemporary art that coexists with the living history of the city.
An essential experience to get to know the monumental essence of Seville.
