Overview
We begin our tour at the emblematic Torre del Oro, watchtower of the Guadalquivir River, symbol of the naval history of Seville. From there we cross the San Telmo Bridge, contemplating the views of the neighborhood and the river, until we reach the Monument to the First World Tour, which reminds us of the feat of Magellan and Elcano.
We continue along the picturesque Betis street, bordering the river and admiring its colorful houses, bars and unique atmosphere. We visit the parish of Santa Ana, a jewel of the Gothic-Mudejar style, and the Chapel of the Mariners, headquarters of the Brotherhood of Esperanza de Triana, where the devotion and tradition of the brotherhood are palpable. We approached the historic Castillo de San Jorge, former seat of the Inquisition, and then the Chapel of Carmen, another religious landmark of the neighborhood.
We finish our walk crossing the Triana Bridge, symbol of union and culture, while enjoying the views of the Guadalquivir and the unmistakable essence of Triana, between history, art and tradition.
