Overview
For this DMZ tour, customers will visit Imjingak Peace Park, the DMZ, and the Mt. Gamaksan Suspension Bridge in Korea.
At Imjingak Peace Park, you will understand the history of the Korean War. You will check out historical places such as Mangbaedan Altar, the Bridge of Freedom, and the steam locomotive destroyed during the Korean War. Also, don’t miss out on Peace Park, which is a perfect place for walking and taking pictures!
Visit the DMZ (3rd Invasion Tunnel, Dora Observatory to see North Korean territory at a close distance, and Unification Village).
The 3rd Tunnel, also known as the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel, was made by North Korea after the Korean War for another surprise attack. From the Dora Observatory, you will see North Korea with your own eyes because it is close enough to view from the top!
The Suspension Bridge (Mt. Gamaksan) was one of the fierce battlefields during the Korean War. Maximize your fun by enjoying the panoramic view at the top. This is one of the longest suspension bridges in Korea, with a length of 180 meters. After around 15–20 minutes of walking to the top, you will reach the bridge, which offers a great viewpoint.
