Guided Tour of Segovia: Cathedral & Alcázar
Overview
From there, we’ll walk down the lively Calle Real until we reach Plaza Medina del Campo, surrounded by Renaissance palaces. We’ll continue through the Jewish Quarter, with its narrow alleys and Plaza del Corpus, where we’ll learn about the historical legacy of the Jewish community in the city.
We’ll then arrive at Segovia Cathedral, the majestic “Lady of Cathedrals,” where we’ll discover the elegance of its late Gothic style and its artistic treasures.
We’ll continue along Calle Marqués del Arco, lined with shops and traditional crafts, to Plaza de la Merced. Next, we’ll stroll through the Barrio de las Canonjías, Segovia’s historic ecclesiastical quarter.
We’ll end at the Alcázar of Segovia, a fairytale-like fortress steeped in history, legends, kings, and spectacular panoramic views—the perfect finale to this experience.

On arrival
Meeting point: Plaza del Azoguejo, in front of the Segovia Tourist Office, near the Aqueduct. Look for a blue-green flag with the name Paseando por Europa.
Things to note
- Please be at the meeting point 15 minutes before the tour starts. The guide will not be able to wait out of respect for the group, as we must access the monuments on time.

- Is the tour cancelled if it rains? No, we always go out!
- Once the activity is over, you can access the Episcopal Palace during the same day. To do so, you just need to show the confirmation voucher of your booking with Paseando por Europa.
