On arrival
Meeting point: Plaza de España, across from the Royal Collegiate Church at the Palace of La Granja de San Ildefonso. Look for a blue-green flag with the name “Paseando por Europa.”
Things to note
- Please note that during the fall and winter months, the monumental fountains undergo maintenance, so you likely won’t see them in operation. Additionally, during Fountain Season, there are paid shows that are not accessible for free.
- Our guides will be identified by a blue-green flag or umbrella bearing the company logo: Paseando por Europa.
- Please arrive 15 minutes early, as the tour will depart on time.
- At the meeting point, please show the guide your booking confirmation email, either printed or on your cell phone or tablet.
- Groups of more than 6 adults—even if they’ve made several separate reservations under different names—must pay €10 per adult. Otherwise, they will not be admitted to the tour, and the guide may ask them to leave the tour.

How can the tour be free?
Our concept is simple — there is no set price. Instead, you tip your guide at the end of the tour whatever amount feels right to you. Typically, guests give between $10 to €50, depending on their satisfaction and budget.
Most guides accept cash or card payments, or you can do it via our app.
Cancellation policy
You are free to cancel a booking anytime. We kindly remind you to cancel bookings you cannot arrive for. Being reported as absent decreases your customer level points and the benefits you can enjoy.
