On arrival
Guests can be picked up directly from Saranda or Ksamil with my private vehicle, making it easy and convenient to reach St. George’s Monastery without worrying about transport.
If coming from Saranda, the drive takes approximately 15–20 minutes, following the coastal road south toward Ksamil, then turning inland up the hill to the monastery. From Ksamil, it’s about 10–15 minutes by car.
Your guide will meet you at your accommodation or any preferred nearby location, and the vehicle will take you directly to the monastery. This ensures a comfortable journey and gives you more time to enjoy the views, explore the site, and take photos.
Things to note
The tour involves a short walk uphill from the parking area to the monastery, so comfortable shoes are recommended.
Bring water, sunscreen, and a hat, especially during the warmer months.
