The tour begins in the city center and continues along the lively seaside promenade, where you will enjoy beautiful views of the Ionian Sea and the nearby island of Corfu. Along the way, you will hear stories about Saranda’s past, its transformation into one of Albania’s most popular destinations, and learn about local traditions and daily life.
During the walk, you will also receive useful recommendations about the best places to eat, swim, and explore in Saranda and nearby areas such as Ksamil.

The tour usually lasts around 2 hours and covers the main highlights of the city center at a comfortable walking pace.

On arrival
The meeting point is in the center of Saranda, near the main seaside promenade. We will meet in front of the Saranda Tourist Information Office, an easy and well-known location close to the waterfront.
If you are staying in Saranda city, you can easily reach the meeting point on foot, as most hotels and apartments are within walking distance of the promenade.
If you are arriving by bus, the Saranda bus terminal is only about 5–10 minutes walking distance from the meeting point. Simply walk towards the sea and follow the promenade until you reach the Tourist Information Office.
Your guide will be waiting at the meeting point 10 minutes before the tour starts, so please arrive a little earlier to ensure we can begin on time.
Things to note
This is a relaxed walking tour suitable for most travelers. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water, especially during the summer months. Sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses are also recommended due to the warm Mediterranean climate.
The tour lasts approximately 2 hours and covers the main highlights of Saranda at an easy walking pace. There will be short stops along the way for explanations, photos, and questions.
This is a free walking tour, which means there is no fixed price. At the end of the tour, guests are welcome to leave a tip if they enjoyed the experience.
