Overview of the tour in Saranda
The tour starts in Saranda at 09.30. Butrint is almost 19 km from Saranda, so a transportation is needed. Butrint is considered as one of the most important archaeological sites in Albania. On the strength of the immense wealth of cultural, historical and natural value with a considerable history, was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992 and further a National Park in 2000. The tour will last for 2.5 - 3 hours. At the and of the tour you can stop for a refreshment drink at Livia Bar- Restaurant, at the entrance of the site then back to Saranda.
