Overview
As the daytime heat fades and the city becomes more atmospheric, your local guide will take you through Baščaršija and the historic heart of Sarajevo, where Ottoman, Austro-Hungarian and modern influences meet uniquely.
The tour starts in front of Sarajevo City Hall – Vijećnica, one of the city’s most impressive landmarks at night. From there, we walk through Kazandžiluk, Bravadžiluk, Sebilj Square, the Gazi Husrev-bey area, Sarajevo’s meeting point of cultures and religions, the Sacred Heart Cathedral, the Old Orthodox Church area, and the Latin Bridge.
You will hear stories about Sarajevo’s people, traditions, daily life, religious coexistence, the assassination that changed world history, and the small details that are easy to miss when exploring alone.
This tour is ideal for first-time visitors, solo travellers, couples and friends who want a cooler and more atmospheric introduction to Sarajevo by night. At the end, you will also receive local recommendations for food, cafés, desserts, evening drinks and authentic places to visit.

Please search for “Sarajevo City Hall” or “Vijećnica” on Google Maps. Do not search only by the street name, as it may take you to the wrong location.
Look for the guide near the main entrance of the building.

This is a free walking tour, so there is no fixed price. At the end, you are welcome to thank your guide with a tip according to your experience and satisfaction.
Sarajevo evenings can be especially atmospheric, but temperatures may change depending on the season, so please dress comfortably and wear suitable walking shoes.
No entrance tickets are required. The tour is focused on outdoor storytelling, local atmosphere, beautiful night views, and cultural highlights of Sarajevo Old Town.
Please arrive 5–10 minutes before the starting time so we can begin the tour on time.
