Overview

Firstly, we will make an introduction at our meeting point - Sarajevo City Hall - telling the most important parts of history and culture in Bosnia and Herzegovina and its beautiful capital – Sarajevo.

We will pass through Kazandziluk Street (copper craft street) and then go to the most recognizable landmark of Sarajevo - Sebilj, the wooden fountain located in Baščaršija square.

In the Old City, you will also see the medieval Caravan Saray (an old hotel for the caravans) as well as the biggest and the most beautiful mosque in Sarajevo - Gazi Husrev-bey's Mosque. Nearby the mosque, you will see a unique Clock Tower.

After seeing the “Sarajevo Meeting of Cultures” spot, you will see the oldest Jewish synagogue in our city and learn more about the Jewish community in Sarajevo.

Later on, in the Austro-Hungarian part of the city, you will see the imposing Catholic Cathedral and a statue of Pope John Paul II. Right next to the Cathedral, we will talk about Sarajevo roses.

We will also see the biggest Orthodox church in Sarajevo - The cathedral of the Nativity of the Theotokos.

The tour finishes next to the famous Latin Bridge, Franz-Ferdinand˙s assassination site.
