Free Tour of Templars and Game of the Goose
Overview
The well-known Game of the Goose has a lot to do with the Camino de Santiago itself. Despite the fact that it is a very common game and widespread throughout Spain, most are unaware of its true Templar origin.
The tour goes through the lesser-known areas of the old town of Santiago but which, equally, have a lot of charm and will surprise visitors with their stories and curiosities: Porta do Camiño (entrance of the French, Primitive and Northern Way in the old area of Santiago), traces of the Templars in the churches, the old hospital of San Roque, the small Jewish quarter of Santiago, the convent of San Francisco and many more secrets that will be revealed at sunset.
This activity includes:
- Porta do Camiño
- Convento de San Francisco de Santiago
