Free Tour Santiago Monumental
Overview
We will start at the Plaza de la Inmaculada, next to the Monastery of San Martín Pinario, and we will go around the cathedral passing through the Plaza de la Quintana and Platerías until we reach the emblematic Plaza del Obradoiro, with the Cathedral of Santiago, the Pazo de Raxoi, the Colegio de San Xerome and the Hostal de los Reyes Católicos.
We will continue along the Rúa do Franco to the Alameda, where I will tell you the story behind Las Dos Marías. We will go into the Rúa Vilar to discover the mysterious peepholes and property marks, and through one of the narrowest streets, we will reach the Rúa Nova, with the Salón Teatro and the church of Santa María Salomé, dedicated to the mother of the Apostle Santiago and which has a mysterious portico.
