Live an unforgettable day touring the magical Ribeira Sacra and the thermal city of Ourense. We will start the route heading to the north of the province, entering into rugged landscapes where, since the Middle Ages, monasteries were built and today give name to this sacred region.
We will embark on a catamaran through the impressive canyons of the Sil River, where for 90 minutes we will enjoy a unique natural spectacle: rock walls of up to 500 meters, vertical forests, and impossible vineyards. All accompanied, if you wish, with a glass of wine with Designation of Origin Ribeira Sacra.
After the walk, we will go up to one of the most emblematic viewpoints to contemplate the views, and visit the Monastery of San Pedro de Rocas, carved in stone and wrapped in legends since the 6th century.
The day continues in Ourense, the thermal capital of Galicia. You will have free time for lunch, visit the Cathedral, and enjoy a stroll through the old town, full of squares, fountains, and bridges over the Miño.
