San Salvador Free Tour: The Best Gastronomic Experience

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED:
- Cost of making pupusas depends on how many you want to make: $1.25 per pupusa.
- Coffee tasting and cupping: cost is shared among tour participants; cost per extraction method: $5, which yields 2 cups of coffee.
- Snacks and seasonal fruits in the market.
- Typical dishes and sweets.
- Personal expenses.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
RESERVATION IS NECESSARY, since the groups we handle are small, so we need to know how many people will participate in the tour.
THE EXPENSES OF THE ACTIVITIES ARE PAID BY THE PARTICIPANT, WE RECOMMEND BRINGING $10 MINIMUM FOR THE ACTIVITIES.

On arrival
We will be in front of the National Library of El Salvador (BINAES). We have a blue-black shirt with the Traveling Souls Agency logo. Please provide a WhatsApp or phone number so we can easily contact you and maintain communication.
Things to note
KEEP IN MIND:
-Wear comfortable shoes for a hike of 2 hours 45 min to 3 hours.
-Bring 1 liter of water or you can buy it in the stores in the surroundings.
-Don't forget to bring sunscreen and preferably a hat or cap.
-Be eager to meet other travelers and learn about the history of San Salvador.
-Do not eat too much before the tour
How can the tour be free?
Our concept is simple — there is no set price. Instead, you tip your guide at the end of the tour whatever amount feels right to you. Typically, guests give between $10 to €50, depending on their satisfaction and budget.
Most guides accept cash or card payments, or you can do it via our app.
Cancellation policy
You are free to cancel a booking anytime. We kindly remind you to cancel bookings you cannot arrive for. Being reported as absent decreases your customer level points and the benefits you can enjoy.
