Overview
A one-day tour from Samarkand to the Seven Lakes in Tajikistan is a unique chance to experience the untouched beauty of the Fann Mountains in just one day.
The journey begins in Samarkand, where your driver will meet you and transfer you to the Uzbek–Tajik border (Jartepa). After crossing the border, our local driver on the Tajik side will greet you. From there, the trip continues to Panjakent, a charming historical city, and then on to the stunning Shing Valley, home to the legendary Seven Lakes (Haft-Kul).
Along the way, you will stop at each lake to take photos, admire the views, and enjoy a short walk:

After visiting the lakes, we return to Panjakent and transfer you back across the border to your driver in Uzbekistan. The day ends with a drop-off at your hotel in Samarkand.

All participants must gather at the bus stop near the Faculty of Biology of Samarkand State University (SamGU), on University Boulevard in Samarkand. From this meeting point, your driver will pick up all tour participants.

- Please arrive at the meeting point on time and wait for the driver at the scheduled departure time.
- Look for the driver or vehicle arranged for the tour; the driver will collect all participants together.
- We recommend arriving 10 – 15 minutes earlier to avoid delays.
