Samarkand Must-See Free Walking Tour
Overview
We’ll visit the Gur-e Amir Mausoleum, the final resting place of Amir Timur, and the magnificent Registan Square, the architectural jewel of Central Asia. Admire the grandeur of the Bibi-Khanym Mosque, once one of the largest in the world, and dive into the lively atmosphere of Siab Bazaar, full of aromas, colors, and local energy.
Our route continues to the Khazrati Khizr Mosque, offering panoramic views of the city, and the Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis, a dazzling ensemble of blue-tiled mausoleums. Finally, we’ll explore the Ulugh Beg Observatory, a place where science and history converge.
Throughout the journey, I’ll share stories of emperors, scholars, and everyday people who shaped this city. Join me to experience the true essence of Samarkand, a living legend of the Silk Road.
