We’ll visit the city’s top historical monuments, including Gur-e-Amir Mausoleum (entry included), the majestic Registan Square (outside), the grand Bibi-Khanym Mosque (outside), Hazrat Khizr Mosque (entry included), and the sacred Shah-i-Zinda complex (outside).
Along the way, I’ll share fascinating stories, legends, and facts about Samarkand’s rich past, from the time of Amir Temur to today. You’ll get a true sense of the city’s spirit through its architecture, culture, and everyday life.

Our Guides
On arrival
Meeting point: In front of the main entrance of Gur-e-Amir Mausoleum.
It is located in the city centre of Samarkand and is easy to reach by taxi or on foot from most hotels in the old city.
Please arrive 10 minutes before the tour starts. Look for the guide with a welcoming smile and possibly a sign that says “Walking Tour with Sitora”.

Things to note
• Please wear comfortable walking shoes; this is a walking tour and includes some uneven surfaces.
• Don’t forget sunscreen, a hat, and a bottle of water, especially in the warmer months.
• Entry to Gur-e-Amir and Hazrat Khizr Mosque is included, but the rest of the sites will be viewed from the outside.
• This tour is not wheelchair accessible due to stairs and uneven paths.
• The tour will start on time. If you’re running late, please contact me as soon as possible.
