On arrival
Upon arrival in Samarkand, your guide will meet you at your hotel lobby or a pre-arranged meeting point within the city.
If you are arriving by train, your guide can meet you at the main exit of the Samarkand railway station with a name sign for easy identification. For airport arrivals, the guide will meet you in the arrival hall after baggage claim, also holding a name sign.
If you are already staying in Samarkand, please wait in your hotel lobby at the agreed time. Your guide will contact you in advance via phone or messaging to confirm the exact meeting time and location.
In case of any difficulty finding the guide, customers can ask hotel reception staff or station/airport information desks to assist in locating the meeting point. The guide will be easily recognizable and will ensure a smooth start to your tour.
Things to note
Please wear comfortable walking shoes, as the tour includes walking between historical sites and monuments.
Modest clothing is recommended when visiting religious sites such as mosques and mausoleums (shoulders and knees covered).
Bring sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen) during hot weather, and a light jacket in cooler months.
Carry some cash for personal expenses, souvenirs, or optional purchases at local bazaars, as card payments may not always be accepted.
Drinking water is recommended, especially in summer months.
