Original Rijeka Free Tour
Overview
We'll meet up at Jadranski trg (Adriatic square) at the designated time (check the dates!) and, during our walk, you'll see some exciting and unique places within the city center, as well as hear stories about how Rijeka used to be the largest port in Austro-Hungarian Empire, and how the city has developed through centuries.
We'll end our walking tour at a wharf in the harbor, where many luxurious yachts are anchored nowadays.

On arrival
Meeting point: Between two fountains at Jadranski trg (Adriatic Square).
The guide will stand between them, so that you can find him easily.
The square is conveniently located in the city center, making it easy to reach the meeting point by city bus, on foot, or by taxi. Intercity bus station "Žabica" is only 150 m (500 ft) away.
Things to note
The tour route around the town is wheelchair accessible.
Come in comfortable shoes and check the weather conditions to see if you'll need an umbrella, a raincoat, a pair of sunglasses or a hat ;)
For the morning tours: bring a garment to cover your shoulders should you wish to visit the cathedral.
This tour is not "rain or shine"; the tour might be cancelled in case of bad weather.
How can the tour be free?
Our concept is simple — there is no set price. Instead, you tip your guide at the end of the tour whatever amount feels right to you. Typically, guests give between $10 to €50, depending on their satisfaction and budget.
Most guides accept cash or card payments, or you can do it via our app.
