This tour will go through the narrow streets of Rethymno, which echo the Venetian architectural style, to see the different monuments that the past has left in this town.
Rethymno was a city during the Classical Greek period, as well as during the Ancient Roman and Byzantine periods. Most of its monumental legacy, however, comes from the Venetian and Ottoman dominations, whose stories are entangled with the whole of Crete.
