Overview
The tour will start at the main square Forum, in front of the Tourist Info Centre, where the Temple of Augustus is located. It is one of the most beautiful examples of early Roman sacral architecture. Afterwards, many attractions and monuments will be seen on the route, like the Sergii Arch, the beautiful Giardini Street, and the oldest arch in the city - Hercules Gates-followed by another set of gates, the Twin Gates. Then, of course, the main city attraction will be seen, the Amphitheater, also called the Arena, one of the best-preserved and most beautiful in the world, and the only one with all four stair towers still preserved. The next stop will be Tito’s Park, followed by the Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The tour will finish at the top of the hill, where the castle is located, offering the best sunset view of the Lightning Giants, the shipyard, the harbour, and the entire town.
