Overview of the tour in Puerto de la Cruz

Come to explore the City of Puerto de la Cruz and learn how a fishing port became the most important port on the Island, connected to 3 continents. I will give you a brief overview of the Conquest of Tenerife, the Ancient Inhabitants and their way of life.

We will see the typical Canarian architecture of the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, its beautiful gardens.

We will visit the houses of old merchants from other lands, including one of the earliest and oldest hotels which opened over 200 years ago.

I will explain local feasts including The Carnaval, San Juan, and the boat of the Virgen del Carmen, Patron Saint of Fishermen.
We will enjoy this interesting corner of the Island.

We will visit:

- Harbour of Puerto de la Cruz
- Royal customs House from 17th
- Puddle Square
- Fishermen's quarter
- Church of Sint Francisc and Sint John
- Iriarte Family House, Ventoso's House
- Church's Square of Peña de Francia
- Viewpoint of San Telmo to "Lago Martianez"
- Europa Square
- Town Hall
- Miranda's House
