Overview
Come with us on a German tour, not just a tour in Deutch!
Did you often hear about strange things in Prague in history lessons? The absolutely crazy Defenestration of Prague, the first German-language university in Europe - Charles University, or classics of world literature such as Franz Kafka?
But where can you find these ecstasies of German culture in today's Czech city of Prague?
I am Jan, a local historian with a lifelong passion for Czech-German culture and relations - and I will take you on this search trip.
We will not only uncover the old, lost history, but also discover Prague as it is now.
Where Franz Kafka meets the delicious Trdelník, where Prague's "German House" has become the "Slavic House" or where English tourists celebrate stag parties in a Czech pub on an old German farm - that's where our journey through time will take us.
