Our Porto Legends and Mysteries Free Tour was created because this city is overflowing with ancient legends, bizarre crimes, and haunting mysteries. In this free tour, we will walk through the historical part of Porto until we reach the stunning gardens of the Crystal Palace. We have a handful of stories to tell you. From the legends of Miragaia to the hanging tree, from the ghost of São Bento station to the crime of Rua das Flores, from the presence of the dragon throughout the city to the Portuguese Robyn dos Bosques, there are incredible stories around every corner of this city. On arrival

Our meeting point is just in front of the Cathedral at the Pelourinho (stone pillar). Please look for the blue umbrella.

The nearest metro station is São Bento just 400 meters from where we are.

Groups of 7 or more are always welcome. In this case, we require a deposit of €10 per adult (12 years old or more). This principle results from the need to protect and value the level of quality and dedication that we demand from our local Take Porto guides.

Things to note

Although there won't be many ups and downs, it will be a rather lengthy tour, so do bring comfortable shoes and a bottle of water. During the summer months, we strongly advise you to wear sunscreen.
