Porto Free Tour by Night
Overview
Nearby awaits us the Café Piolho, student emblem: we will review the theories about its curious name and its link with the time of the Estado Novo. We will continue through the Cordoaria Garden, one of the first green spaces in the city, and arrive at the Lello Bookstore, famous for its beauty and the inevitable question: could it have inspired J.K. Rowling and Harry Potter?
Then we will look up to the Clérigos Tower, at 75 meters, the tallest in Porto, before passing by the City Hall, Avenida dos Aliados and Praça da Liberdade. At São Bento station we will admire more than 20,000 tiles depicting key episodes of Portugal.
We will go down the lively Rua das Flores to the Palacio da Bolsa and close at the Ribeira, with night views of the Douro and Vila Nova de Gaia, an essential point of the local nightlife.

- Group bookings of more than 6 adults have to pay 10€ per adult. The maximum allowed is 3 children per adult.
- If your group is more than 6 adults and you have made several separate reservations under different names, but all for the same group, you will have to pay 10€ per adult. Otherwise, we will not be able to accept you on the tour and the guide may ask you to leave the tour.
- If you have any questions, please write us on WhatsApp.
How can the tour be free?
Our concept is simple — there is no set price. Instead, you tip your guide at the end of the tour whatever amount feels right to you. Typically, guests give between $10 to €50, depending on their satisfaction and budget.
Most guides accept cash or card payments, or you can do it via our app.
Free Cancellation
You are free to cancel a booking anytime. We kindly remind you to cancel bookings you cannot arrive for. Being reported as absent decreases your customer level points and the benefits you can enjoy.
