Tour of the Latin Quarter and St. Michel in Spanish
Overview of the tour in Paris
These two neighborhoods of the Parisian heart contain a good part of the most famous monuments of the French capital. Student neighborhoods par excellence, the distinctive feature of these neighborhoods is that they spoke Latin. In this visit we will know how Paris mutated in the middle of s. XIX, to go from being a medieval city to become the great European city that we know today.
We will approach the University of the Sorbonne, a factory of ideas that changed not only France but also the world. We will know the origins of Paris, the pantheon of Napoleon, the university world and its relationship with the illustration and May of 68. Likewise, we will visit the bookstores, houses and even the tombs of some of the most prominent intellectuals along with the fountain of St. Michel and the gardens of Luxembourg. A very interesting visit of 2 and a half hours.
