Overview
Paris was in 1789 the epicenter of one of the most important events in history: the French Revolution. In this tour, we will walk through the streets that changed France and the world forever. We will talk about a process that gave birth to modern democracy and turned Paris into an international symbol of rebellion, ideas and transformation.
Our meeting point will be the Palais-Royal, where the revolutionary upheaval began. We will continue to the Comédie-Française, a reflection of the debate of ideas that marked the era.
We will enter the Tuileries Palace, former royal residence and key scene in the fall of the monarchy. We will also visit the area where Robespierre lived, protagonist of the Terror period, during which thousands of people were executed.
We approach the end of the tour at the Place de la Concorde, where Marie Antoinette was executed, symbol of the end of an era.
And to close, we will see the National Assembly, representation of the new political system that emerged after the Revolution.
