Free Tour Arc de Triomphe
Overview
We will start in the Champs Elysées, once a marshy area and today one of the most prestigious avenues in the world. Here we will visit the Maison Louis Vuitton and the trajectory of its founder. We will continue to the Prince de Galles Hotel, linked to the British royal family, and the famous cabaret Crazy Horse, rival of the Moulin Rouge and famous for its refined style.
We will continue to the Alma Bridge, remembered for the accident that killed Lady Di, and we will see the Flame of Liberty, a spontaneous tribute to the princess. Then we will visit the Yves Saint Laurent Museum and stroll along the Avenue Marceau, where stand the church of Saint Pierre de Chaillot and the Galerie Bourbon.
The tour ends under the Arc de Triomphe, erected by Napoleon to celebrate his victories. We will decipher the meaning of its sculptures and the history of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, whose eternal flame is renewed every day.

On arrival
Meeting point: In front of the Louis Vuitton Maison on Champs Elysées, next to the George V metro exit. Look for a teal flag with the name Strolling through Europe.
End point: Arc de Triomphe.
Things to note
- Please arrive 15 minutes in advance so that the tour can begin at the scheduled time.
- Show the guide, at the meeting point, the booking confirmation email, either printed or by cell phone or tablet.
- Our guides will be identified with a teal flag with the company logo: Walking in Europe.
- what is a free tour? Free comes from the concept "free", that is, it is an urban tour with qualified guides in which you are free to put the price you want to the tour once finished, depending on your degree of satisfaction and budget.
- Reservations for groups of more than 6 adults have to pay 8 euros per adult, and the maximum allowed is 3 children per adult.
- If your group is more than 6 adults, and you have made several reservations under different names, but all for the same group, you will have to pay 8 euros per adult. Otherwise, we will not be able to accept you on the tour and the guide may ask you to leave the tour.

How can the tour be free?
Our concept is simple — there is no set price. Instead, you tip your guide at the end of the tour whatever amount feels right to you. Typically, guests give between $10 to €50, depending on their satisfaction and budget.
Most guides accept cash or card payments, or you can do it via our app.
