Overview
We will meet at the indicated time and meeting point to begin our free tour of Montmartre. Are you ready to follow in the footsteps of the great painters and artists who lived on this hill?
In the company of your guide, we will discover the history of this unique neighborhood and hear many anecdotes about the area, which was once considered the hub of Parisian and world art. To do so, we will start right at one of the symbols of the neighborhood, the Moulin Rouge, which we will observe from the outside.
As a continuation, we will reach the famous Moulin de la Galette, painted by Renoir in one of his paintings, and then walk through the historic streets of the neighborhood.
By this time, we will have reached the top of the hill, where we will be greeted by the silhouette of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, which we will approach to admire in all its splendor.
Finally, we will move to the nearby Place du Tertre, a square where many artists paint and display their paintings to the public. Here, we will say goodbye after two and a quarter to two and a half hours spent discovering the beauty of Montmartre.
