Overview
Live a transforming journey in the Panamanian jungle, living with one of the most emblematic indigenous cultures of the country. In Emberá Drúa, you are not a spectator, but a guest of honor in a community that has preserved its traditions, language and connection with nature for generations.
What you will experience:
Navigation in "Piruas": The adventure begins by navigating the river in a traditional boat, surrounded by nature and the serenity of the water. Authentic Flavors: You will enjoy a traditional lunch prepared by the community, using fresh local ingredients and ancestral techniques. Rhythms and Dances: Let yourself be carried away by the sound of flutes, drums and ceremonial dances that tell the history of their people and celebrate life. Stories of the Forest: You will learn first-hand about the history of the Emberá, their knowledge of botanical medicine and the cosmovision that guides their daily life. Village Life: You will walk through the village, visit their homes and admire (or purchase) their famous handicrafts made of natural fibers and cocobolo wood.
