Overview
We will know the key moments that marked its history. All these changes left their mark on Palma and created a city with a very special personality; seafaring, but protected from the sea, closed, but welcoming of very different cultures; straight Roman streets, narrow and twisted Muslim and medieval, modern avenues, royal palaces, stately palaces, churches, mosques, synagogues, bastions and forts enveloping each city to the previous one and many corners full of history and stories, some to remember and others that, almost better to forget.

On arrival
The monument to the Hondero Balear is located at the foot of the stairs leading up to the Cathedral, under the Almudaina Palace, next to the gardens of S'Hort del Rei, on Avenida Antoni Maura.
