Overview

This walk will explore the legacy of the Normans, groups of adventurers of Viking descent that during the Middle Ages came from Normandy and eventually founded one of the most multicultural kingdoms the world has ever witnessed: the kingdom of Sicily. The legacy of their architecture stuns for integrating Arab, Greek, and Northern European artistic features in a unique blend, the so called Arab-Norman style.

We will take an original route through the streets of the real inhabited Palermo, to see the hidden gems this city has to offer, and talk about the legends that have resonated through its alleys in history.

Needless to say, I will recommend the best spots to go out and eat in the city ;)
