Overview
An authentic tour, born out of a passion for true experiences and a desire to introduce you to Oslo as a local experiences it. It is a journey through time: from the modern city to its medieval roots, passing by different architecture, surprising stories and details you won't find in guidebooks.
We start at the Royal Palace, symbol of the contemporary monarchy, and continue to the University and the National Theater, Oslo's cultural heart. We arrive at City Hall, home of the Nobel Peace Prize, where recent history meets the modern vision of the city.
From there we move to the fjord, with views of Aker Brygge and Akershus Fortress-a glimpse that jumps from contemporary architecture to medieval walls. Then we enter the oldest part of the city: Christiania Torv and the Bankplassen banking area.
The route closes in the most innovative Oslo, between the Deichman Library, the Opera House and the iconic tiger statue.
Along the way I tell you stories, trivia, traditions, and give you practical tips for experiencing Oslo at its best: where to eat, what to do, and how to really enjoy the city.
