We’ll start in As Burgas, one of Ourense’s most iconic spots, to learn about the importance of its hot springs since ancient times and understand why the city has always been so closely tied to hot water.
History
We’ll continue through the historic district, exploring squares, streets, and hidden corners that will help us discover medieval Ourense. We’ll discuss its ancient city gates, episcopal power, and the Cathedral of San Martiño, one of Galicia’s greatest architectural treasures.
Cuisine
We’ll also pass through the Os Viños district, one of the city’s liveliest areas, where we’ll discuss the importance of wines, tapas, and some Galician products, with recommendations for continuing to enjoy Ourense after the tour.

On arrival
We'll be waiting for you at Praza das Burgas, next to the As Burgas monument fountain. To find us easily, look for the red Viaxamos umbrella.
Things to note
We recommend arriving about 10 minutes before the tour begins so we can organize the group and start on time.
The tour is conducted on foot, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. In case of light rain, the tour will still take place.
