One of the most photogenic and photographed spot in Oradea in Black Eagle Palace. Also, it is one of the most representative Art Nouveau building from Transilvania and the Western part of Romania. It has a lot of decorations inspired from the Hungarian traditional embroidery.
Another impressive building is Sonnenfeld Palace situated on Moscovei street. It was built between 1910 and 1913 by Adolf Sonnenfeld, who had also a printing house in the inner courtyard. The style is sober with Art-Nouveau elements influenced by Berliner tendencies. Decoration elements are just a few and reprezent by flowers and children.
