Overview
The San Ramon waterfall is located on the steep slopes of Ometepe Maderas Volcano, a slice of paradise in the thick jungle where its waters tumble down the sheer, mossy cliff face into a small pool where visitors can bathe and admire the fall. And, a refreshing swim in the waterfall’s pool is almost obligatory after a moderate hike.
Spend a nice day kayaking along the coast of Ometepe Island in Lake Nicaragua until you reach the mouth of the Istián River. The river and marshlands run through the center of the isthmus, almost cutting the island in two. The Istián River area is a marshy terrain on the western side of the isthmus between Maderas and Concepción. It is only accessible by water and is a perfect place to see all kinds of wildlife, as it is a refuge for several species such as birds, turtles, alligators, butterflies, and monkeys.
Watching the sinking sunlight and clouds paint the sky with vibrant hues of pink, orange, and purple is to see incredible artistry at work from Punta Jesus Maria, Playa Mangos, or Playa El Peru, the best spots to enjoy the beauty of a sunset, nature's farewell kiss for the night to close this amazing tour.

We pick up our client at any place in Ometepe, such as Moyogalpa, Altagracia, Santo Domingo, and Balgue. Clients at hostel with difficult access to be picked up, we will be able to meet them by the street.
