Overview
Beginning from St Clement of Ohrid Square, the walk will take you to the museum of The Robev House and the Paper Museum. Then to one of the most important monuments of the region, St Sophia Church, followed by the Ancient Amphitheater.
You can enter the Church of Holy Mary Perivleptos with the most preserved old frescoes and see the Upper Gate of the Fortress, have a coffee break, and continue to St Clement Panteleimon. Going down through the Forrest, you’ll be given some time to take pictures at the most photographed place in the region, St John the Theologian, known by the name of Kaneo.
On the way back, you have an option to take a short ten-minute boat trip and see the Old Town from a different perspective, or walk back to one of the many restaurants on the lake and experience traditional local produce foods.
