Welcome to Nuwara Eliya! I will be waiting for you in front of the Cargills Food City building (large supermarket at 90 Kandy Road, near downtown).
How to get there easily:
If coming by bus/train: Get off at Nuwara Eliya central stop and walk 5 min along Kandy Road (follow signs 'Cargills').
If in hotel/hostel: Cargills is a 5-10 min walk from most (Grand Hotel, Hill Club area).
Taxi/tuk-tuk: Ask for 'Cargills Food City, Kandy Road'.
Things to note
Climate: Nuwara Eliya is cool (12-18°C). Wear light jacket, hat and comfortable walking shoes. It rains sometimes - poncho recommended.
Special Post Office: You can pay and get a valid stamp with your own printed photo at the Post Office in Nuwara Eliya - select your photo before the tour!
What to bring: Camera/phone, water (1L), light snack, cash for Victoria Park (~3 EUR), market and personalized stamp.
