Overview
Hi guys, this is Archie, and I'd love to give you a tour which includes a free surprise seafood snack.
We are a two-guide team, Archie & Petura. Come be a local for a day, learn how we live, and come listen to our stories.
The tour starts at Parliament Square next to the Queen Victoria statue where you will learn about the British colonial history of The Bahamas, Loyalists, and the government of The Bahamas.
Next is a stop at Christ Church Cathedral, which is the state church of The Bahamas. There you will learn about the religious system of the country and even get to go inside the church.
Afterward is the governor's mansion, called Government House, which is like our White House. Next is Graycliff resort, where you will get to try local wine, chocolates, and even tour the cigar factory.
We then move to John Watlings Distillery, which is a local rum-producing company that's named after a pirate. There, you will get to tour the factory and even taste rum.
The last stop is Tasty Teas herbal tea shop where local teas are produced and you will learn about our rich herbal tea tradition.
The tour ends back at Parliament Square and is roughly 2 and a half hours long.
